CREATEC

Yesterday was CREATEC's festival, we worked on it since the beginning of the semester. It was a hard work because it needed to be something new, something that you crated being creative and with your daily necessities.

Our product was SAQUA, and what's SAQUA? It is a hair brush which has water on the handle, so when you are doing your hair you don't need to be at the bathroom to get water, the best thing about it is it price, you can get it for only 120 pesos.

We won two awards, the first one was because of the explanation and the creativity, and the second award was because of the motley.

Vintage

Hello, my name is Ana Paulina, this is my final project wich is about different types of art, the one I am going to talk about is vintage art.

Vintage art is one of my favorite kind of art, because for me it transmit a lot of things like happiness, for me it is a type of art that relaxes you, and it is also very girlie. It's a style which lots of companies usually used for publicity like The Coca Cola company...

Niki Jackson is a fantastic artist because she always transmits to the others what she feels by her paintings, she si the type of person who believes in stories, specially the ones which can take you away to a better place, where bunnies talk and play games, she loves places where there is only goodness, love and joy.

Based on what I said before, we can notice that what she does in her paintings is to transmit happiness, love and joy to the others, but we could also noticed that she is a happy, girlie and as fantastic as a person as she does as an artist.

Intercampus 2014

For me Intercampus was an awesome experience, we had a lot of fun.
The best part about all the trip was that we won, the final match was the most complicated but with a lot of efford we finally got to won, it was against Irapuato, wich maked it even more complicated because the referee was supporting Irapuato, but that didn't avoid us of wining.
It lasted 2 days but there were 2 fantastic days.

What's art?

For me art is a way to express your feelings and your personality to the others, art needs to be original and something that not everyone could do; by the time you are making your piece of art you need to think what do you want to transmit to the others, art also needs to make the others feel something about your piece of art.

Carlos: he thinks art is a way to express your ideas, and also a way to relax yourself by the time your making art. He exposed a pint made by himself, wich is about two birds.

Pamela: she showed us an sculpture because it transmit a lot of things, it is abstract. For her art is something where you can express yourself by the way you think it is.

Frida: art is a way of expressing your feelings, she showed us a photo of the Louvre museum.

Caro: she thinks art is something that you don't really now what it is but it transmit a lot of feelings, art is something abstract. She showed us an abstract sculpture.

Regina: for her art doesn't need to be beautiful or attractive, it is something that makes you feel something inside, for her music is art because it express a lot of emotions.

What do you think? Hospitals in Thailand and India 2

1.- After hearing both reports, has your opinion of medical tourism changed? Do you think hospitals in places like Thailand and India should try to attract medical tourists? Why or why not?

My opinion really changed because I didn't knew about medical tourism at all, I think it's something really good because if your not able to have a surgery in your country you can travel to another country and keep yourself healthy.
I don't think so because in my opinion it would be better to keep medical tourism as famous as it's now and not making it more famous because then the residents of the country would be affected in a bad way.

2.- Some people believe that doctors and hospitals have an obligation to provide service to the poor. In your opinion, what other professions and facilities have and obligation to serve the poor? Why?

I think that the poor should be able to get all the necessities of a human, the professions should help them are the doctors, the teachers, the psychologist, and all the professions who could help someone in ther diary life.

What do you think? Hospitals in Thailand and India

1.- Should all residents of Thailand have access to treatment at a private hospitals like Bumrungrad?
Yes, I think that all residents of Thailand should be allowed to have treatment in private hospitals because they should have the right to have a good treatment in their own country, for me it's not fair that people from other country get better treatment than the ones in their own country.

2.- If you were a doctor in Thailand or India, would you work at a public hospital? Why or why not?
If I were a doctor there it would be a hard deciding in wich hospital I would like to work because every hospital has advantages and disadvantages, in one hand, in a private hospital I would earn more money but from the other hand, money isn't everything, the fact of saving a life of someone who wasn't able to pay in a private hospital would probably make me happier than all the money I could ever earn.

"Believe" by Alfonso Cuarón

Believe is a TV series made by Alfonso Cuarón, it is very interesting because it is not like the usual story in a tv program, it is about a girl who has super powers; there is an evil woman who wants to capture her so she could extract her super powers and make herself powerful.

The evil woman killed the "parents" of the girl in the beginning of the program, but at the end of the episode you get noticed about that they weren't the real parents of the girl; in a part of the episode the girl is in the hospital and a man that supposed to be a doctor cries when he sees her, at the end of the episode you realize that he is the real father of the girl.
There is a group of people who take care of the girl and hide her from the evil woman so she can't kidnap her, the father is in this group of people.

In this episode the evil woman finds the girl but luckily she couldn't kidnap her.
